ZAP Plaid Beige/Multi
ZAP Collection: The Zapotec (Binia,s) civilization was one of the highest developed cultures of Mesoamerica during the pre-Columbian period. A culture still predominant today across the state of Oaxaca in the southwest of Mexico. These beautiful natural wool plaids are created by a Zapotec master artisan and his wife. The wool is dyed using natural pigments which they make from native insects and plants. The yarns are prepared and woven by the men on ancient wooden pedal looms, while the ends are delicately hand finished by the women.
Material: 100% wool front.
Care: Dry clean only.
* Due to wool material and hand-made manufacturing technic, the feeling of this plaid is rough with many micro-imperfection.
* Please note that as unique, handmade art, plaids are never exactly the same and color varies across monitors. Our website photos are a close representation of this plaids but may not be identical to the one you receive.
